Our client, headquartered in New York City USA is a renowned non-governmental organization (NGO). They promote environmental certification to ensure long-term sustainability across agriculture, forestry, and tourism industries. Customer Challenges:

The client faced various challenges Some of them were:

  • Disjoint IT Tools: their business work made them rely on multiple tools such as SharePoint, Outlook, classy, snaplogic, and NetSuite. This disjoint system was very challenging  in managing centralized information about departments, business partners, and end customers.
  • Redundant data: the big pool of data was also error-prone, and impractical for manual handling. To auto-clean this data custom workflows were needed, requiring iteration to attain high accuracy.
  • Managing relationships: their legacy system was making it hard to maintain streamlined relationships with donors.NPSP was not up to mark in maintaining a smooth relationship.
  • Integration needs:  integration capabilities in the client’s existing system were limited. Very few third-party tools integration was supported, ultimately hampering productivity.

Solutions: 

To address these challenges we assessed their Legacy system and proposed the following  solutions.

  • Salesforce nonprofit cloud implementation: We prepared a custom solution for Salesforce non profit cloud and implemented it in the client legacy system to centralize all information in one place. We categorized all business data like donations, opportunities, grants, and agreements based on the NPSP framework to manage in nonprofit clouds.
  • Business process automation: Automation was also implemented to streamline data creation and Management. Workflows and custom scripts were tailored to create auto-manage for approvals and review workflows.
  • Collaboration tools integration: we used Salesforce Chatter to enable users to create store and collaborate directly within Salesforce which eliminated dependency on external systems
  • Donor management: A custom solution was deployed for Donar data management. A strong deduplication strategy and solutions are used to stop redundant data.
  • Integrations: Nonprofit cloud delivered better integration functionality than NPSP, enabling clients to integrate with any tool they wanted.
